Jump Off a Cliff

“If all your friends were jumping off a cliff, would you?” Yes!

This week, we rounded up the family and headed to Slide Rock State Park just north of Sedona. The park is only about two hours north of Phoenix, but it feels like a world away. Years of erosion have worn the canyon down, turning the slippery rocks in the river into a natural water slide!

Further downstream, a 32′ cliff was beckoning. After our fears were soothed by a large gentleman’s successful swan dive, we took the leap!

Rock slides, swimming holes, and cliff jumping make this place definitely worth visiting.

That look like such fun. Probably not the jumping part :-) but the slide part I could do!
